Week 5 and 6

Hello!!!

I want to apologize to everyone because last week I did not post on my blog. Last week was a very busy and stressful week because I registered for the TAP exam (math subset). Math is a very challenging subject for me, therefore I took a class that targeted the math portion of either the TAP or the ACT, besides individual study time. I prepared for the exam but I was still unsure of some topics that would not stick to me. I prepared myself but I still felt like I was not fully ready. I decided to pray and ask God to help me recall all the material  I had studied plus learned in the past weeks. I took the exam and finished just in time, maybe three minutes before my time ended. I was very nervous to get my results. Thankfully I passed the exam. I was very happy that I had passed the math portion and as a result, I felt encouraged to register for the reading comprehension and the language arts subset. I have not passed either or. 

Last Monday I decided to register for the reading comprehension. I will take the reading comprehension the following Thursday, August 9. I hope for the best, and if I pass the reading portion I plan to register for the language arts on August 17. Please pray for me. 

In regards to this weeks topic: How do I feel about my writing so far? I feel it had improved but I am also aware that I still have much to work on. The topics covered in class has helped me by giving me clarity and helping me recall. I believe we tend to forget how to properly write by not practicing over the years. After not attending school for so many years a good refresher is very well needed. I wish I would have taken this class one year ago when I had just started but is never late. I truly believe that this particular class will greatly help me by enforcing my writing and grammatical usage.

I am looking forward to becoming a better writer!!!
